VistaJet Introduces Wine Program

Business aviation company VistaJet announced the launch of The VistaJet Wine Program. With the help of wine experts from around the world, the company has compiled a collection of wine offerings that hold up under the unique altitude and conditions of traveling by plane.

Due to the specific atmosphere and air pressure of an airplane cabin, wines’ taste and aroma can significantly change. With the help of wine experts from Marchesi Antinori, Rothschild (Lafite), Ca’ del Bosco and Artemis Domaines, VistaJet has come up with a selection of the best wines for cruising altitudes.

As part of The VistaJet Wine Program, the flight company has created The Wine in the Sky Questionnaire. With the help of famous oenophiles like Sofia Coppola, Andrea Bocelli, Jeannie Cho Lee and Daniel Boulud, VistaJet’s questionnaire offers suggestions and advice on selecting the best wines considering the different effects of flying on the senses.

While flying, guests can choose from VistaJet’s Signature Wine List, a selection of approved wines that perform best in the sky and includes Ruinart Champagnes; Château Pape Clément, Pessac Léognan; and the Gaja, Rossj Bass Chardonnay. Additionally, The VistaJet Wine Club will offer members 12 different wines each year, debuting two new bottles every other month.

VistaJet will also offer three-day Wine Tours hosted by Marchesi Antinori that include a dinner with the family at Palazzo Antinori, wine tastings from their private collections and visits to historical vineyards in Tuscany and Umbria. Additionally, travelers to North America, Europe and Asia can consult VistaJet’s The World of Wine Concierge for advice on wines and vineyards in the areas they plan on visiting.
