Uniworld’s 2016 Asia River Cruise Itineraries Now Open for Booking

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has announced its 2016 Asia cruises and journeys are open for booking. Debuting in January 2016 will be Uniworld’s newest destination, India.

Guests traveling to India with Uniworld will sail on a new all-suite ship, Ganges Voyager ll, and will stay with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts while visiting New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. Uniworld’s other Asia programs include China, Vietnam and Cambodia. 

Uniworld’s newest cruise and journey, the 13-day “India’s Golden Triangle & the Sacred Ganges,” includes seven nights onboard the all-suite, 56-passenger Ganges Voyager II, and five nights onshore at three Oberoi Hotels & Resorts properties: The Oberoi, New Delhi; the Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra; and the Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur. Guests on this itinerary will visit India’s Taj Mahal, Mother Teresa’s tomb and former home, an enormous Vedic temple in Mayapur, five UNESCO sites and more. 

In China, travelers can delve into the country’s millennia-old culture on one of Uniworld’s four enticing river cruises and journeys. Guests will visit sites from Beijing, Xian and Tibet to the landscapes of Guilin, Suzhou and the Yangtze.

Guests can also take part in Uniworld’s 15-day “Timeless Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong.” Guests spend seven nights onboard the River Orchid, which has 30 staterooms and carries no more than 60 guests, assuring more personalized service and small-group excursions. Onshore, guests stay at five-star luxury properties, including the Park Hyatt Saigon. From Vietnam’s cities of Saigon and Hanoi to Cambodia’s Phnom Penh and Siem Reap —gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Angkor Wat—travelers will discover two ways of life joined by the Mekong river.
