Upcoming Odessa, Ukraine Hotel Joins Luxury Collection

Central Europe's hotel scene keeps getting better: We hear that the Hotel Bristol in Odessa, Ukraine, will join The Luxury Collection portfolio. Jointly owned by L.A.R.K. LLC (Vertex Hotel Group TM) and Bristol-Krasnaya LLC, Hotel Bristol, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Odessa will mark the brand’s entry into Ukraine when it opens early next year.

Built in 1898 and designed by Alexander Bernardazzi and Adolf Minkus, the 112-room Hotel Bristol mixes renaissance and baroque architectural styles, and is the only luxury hotel in the historic city center. Hotel Bristol is situated on Pushkinskaya Street, across from Odessa’s Philharmonic Theatre. Following the renovation, Hotel Bristol will have a signature restaurant and a destination bar, as well as almost 10,000 square feet of event and meeting space for special celebrations and business functions. The hotel will also have leisure facilities, including an indoor pool, spa and fitness center.

Odessa is the fifth largest city in Ukraine and its seaport handles the majority of the country’s export trade. The city is also a popular summer destination, attracting approximately one million visitors a year.

Hotel Bristol, Odessa will be the second Starwood hotel in Ukraine after Four Points by Sheraton Zaporozhye, which opened in 2011, and will be followed by the debut of Sheraton Kiev Olympiysky Hotel in the capital later next year.
