Ritz-Carlton has expanded its partnership with Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society by developing an immersive program for young guests at the 84 Ritz-Carlton hotels worldwide. The idea behind Ritz Kids—to quote the official website—is “to delight your child by making memories that last well beyond their stay.”

In a statement, President and COO Herve Humler paid tribute to Cousteau’s life-long dedication to the environment and marine conservation. Exclusively designed for Ritz-Carlton by the Ocean Futures Society, the activities “appeal to a child’s innate love of discovery and sense of curiosity,” explained Jean-Michel Cousteau.

The program is available at both resorts and the brand’s urban properties, and focuses on four elements: Water, Land, Environmental Responsibility, and Culture. Specific activities include excursions with naturalists; bird-watching; games to learn about fish or local cultures and myths; and gardening adventures.
