The Greenbrier Develops Cutting-Edge Medical Institute

The GreenbrierChange is afoot at The Greenbrier. Ever since coal baron and local boy Jim Justice saved West Virginia’s beloved resort from bankruptcy, he’s been hard at work rejuvenating the property. The Greenbrier’s had a makeover, added a casino, and planned a new luxury train service to Washington D.C. Next up? The development of a top-notch medical clinic with world-renowned physicians Dr. James Andrews, Michael Immel, and healthcare developer Jack T. Diamond.

The goal behind the Greenbrier Medical Institute is to create a “medical mecca” with the world’s best physicians and healthcare professionals. The first construction stage, estimated to cost $250 million, will include an expanded Greenbrier health clinic, a Jim Andrews sports medicine center, a cosmetic surgery and lifestyle enhancement academy, a sports performance and training facility and a boutique hotel with 20 VIP suites. This medical complex is the result of 15 months of research and development.
