Madrid’s Hotel Villa Magna has announced that it will launch its first Mexican Gastronomy Week, which will end on October 20. For the event, it has flown in chef Daniel Ovadía from Mexico to prepare food at Restaurante Villa Magna.
Villa Magna provides four gastronomic experiences for guests: The Magnum Bar, offering an array of cocktails and light bites served in an art deco setting; the Restaurante Villa Magna, offering a revival of the classic cuisine with a twist of the 21st century; The Lounge, overlooking Paseo de la Castellana; and, Tse Yang, Madrid’s luxurious Chinese restaurant.
At age 28, Ovadía is one of the most recognized chefs in Mexico. He is the owner of "Paxia" restaurants in Mexico City.
