Last night played host to the Virtuoso Destination Showcase Dinner & Awards, where Virtuso celebrated its top supporting destination partners and travel advisor members.
More than 1,377 travel agency members, preferred suppliers and esteemed guests attended the event which took place at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The dinner and awards show is just one of the many events taking place at the group’s 26th annual Virtuoso Travel Week conference.
Virtuoso chairman and CEO, Matthew D. Upchurch and Albert Herrera, Virtuoso’s Senior Vice President of global product partnership hosted the fete which honored partners who continue to provide exceptional experiences to Virtuoso clients while simultaneously proving themselves outstanding partners to Virtuoso’s travel agencies and advisors.
“This business is one that’s based on relationships and the incredible relationships we have with our partners allow our advisors to consistently delight their clients,” says Herrera. “The Destination Showcase Awards allow us to shine the spotlight on these amazing partners and thank them for their continued support of our network.”

Each Virtuoso partner category has an elected committee comprised of Virtuoso advisors to provide insight and guidance on these programs that are so integral to the network. Nominees for these awards were selected by the respective committees, and finalists were voted on by network’s travel advisors. In all, Virtuoso received 1,059 votes.
