Starwood is set to WOW Brisbane in 2018 with the debut of W Brisbane. The hotel will be part of a mixed-use development overlooking the Brisbane River.
W Brisbane will join Starwood’s 14 properties in Australia, as part of a pipeline of 15 W Hotels set to open in the Asia Pacific region before 2019. Over the next four years, W will debut in Beijing, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai and Jakarta.
W Brisbane will occupy one tower of a three-tower venture. There will be 305 guest rooms including 25 suites and an Extreme WOW Suite. It will also have meeting and event space, as well as a 24-hour WIRED business center, spa, FIT gym, WET pool and W Hotels The Store. In addition, the hotel will have three restaurants and bars, including an all-day dining restaurant, Pool Bar and the W Lounge.
