Thinking about traveling to Spain? Soho House Barcelona opens in October in the Gothic Quarter. This new hotel will face Port Vell Marina. Entertainment will be one of the main highlights in the hotel, as it will include a 36-seat screening room. (Sounds like movie watching is in store.) For dinner and a movie, try the House Kitchen, which will serve Spanish fare and the other restaurant, Cecconi’s, which will serve signature northern Italian specialties. Looking forward, Soho House will open another property in Amsterdam in 2017.
Cape Rey Carlsbad is offering three new excursions, including surfing, cruising, and beer tours. The guided experiences are created to appeal to wide audiences like families, bridal parties, and couples. It’s good to note that the surf school is open for all levels and even includes a chance to eat burritos while overlooking the Pacific. Guests can also try some award-winning beer from the region. These craft beer tours will include samplings, a souvenir tasting glass and food.
Another hot hotel opening to know about this week is the Park Hyatt St Kitts. This top hotel is set to open by the end of a year, overlooking The Narrows -- which separates St. Kitts and Nevis. Guests can take in that view from each room’s private balcony and terrace. (Some suites will also have private rooftop pools, imagine those views.) Other touches at this hotel include two outdoor, a Rum Bar and 7,000 square feet of event and meeting space.
