Worldhotels Welcomes Amsterdam Boutique Hotel Sir Albert

Worldhotels has announced that Sir Albert in Amsterdam is the latest property to join its collection.

The 90-room Sir Albert Amsterdam is said to “embody an aristocratic attitude”. The hotel is located in the De Pijp area, home to many of Amsterdam’s artists, writers and designers. Guests can walk to the Museumplein and the nightlife and shopping district Leidseplein.

The actual building of the hotel began its life as a diamond factory in the 19th century. All rooms and suites were designed by the BK architects, and boast vivid colors, exclusive design, Illy coffee machines, iPod docking stations, Sir Albert’s signature bedding collection, complimentary Wi-Fi, views of downtown Amsterdam, and Sir Albert’s next door gym.

Sir Albert also features The Study, a lounge where guests can enjoy morning coffee, relax in the leather armchairs to read the newspaper or a book from the library, make use of the hotel’s computers and iPads, or sample a traditional English afternoon tea.

For dining, the property boasts IZAKAYA Asian, Kitchen & Bar, which features a traditional Japanese Robata grill and Asian-inspired grazing menu. The restaurant’s terrace also provides views of the De Pijp area.
