Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours has announced the launch of its “Tastes of Discovery” series for 2024. These culinary voyages along the Kimberley coastline of Australia and the east coast of South America will include celebrity chefs and exclusive experiences.
The “Tastes of Discovery” series offers a selection of interactive cooking demonstrations, meetings with renowned chefs and bespoke dining experiences highlighting local ingredients and traditions. Special events onboard include a welcome cocktail party, cooking challenges and pop-up restaurants. Joining Scenic Group’s Chef Tom Goetter, VP of Oceans Hotel Operations, during this series are chefs Dale MacKay and Gabri Rodriguez.
The “Tastes of Discovery” series is available via the following itineraries, with more collaborations to be announced in the near future:
- The 11-day “Tastes of Discovery: Uncover the Kimberley Coastline” voyage on Scenic Eclipse II sets sail on May 20, 2024. Guests can explore Kimberley, from the cliffs and beaches to the Aboriginal culture and wildlife, all while relishing Chef MacKay’s creations.
- The 12-day “Tastes of Discovery: Rhythms of the Brazilian Coastline” on Scenic Eclipse departs on November 16, 2024. Beginning in Rio de Janeiro, the cruise sails down the coast of Brazil and Uruguay, showcasing beaches and rainforests. The journey continues to the rainforests of Ilha Grande before ending in Buenos Aires. During this sailing guests can enjoy dishes crafted by “Top Chef Mexico” finalist Chef Rodriguez.
