Silversea Enhances Group Sales Program for 2012

Silversea Cruises has unveiled an enhanced program for groups sailing on voyages in 2012. With the new Group Amenity Point (GAP) program, each 2012 voyage has been assigned a set number of points (ranging from 8 to 21), which travel advisors can redeem for a variety of special group amenities.

The new program allows travel advisors to design a package best suited to their group's interests. For instance, additional savings (5 - 10 points) or onboard spending credits (2 - 10 points) can be used to promote the group. Points can also be redeemed to host a private event (2 points), honor a special occasion with dinner in Le Champagne (1 - 4 points), or surf the Internet on a sea day (3 points).

To participate in the GAP program, the organizing agent must have a minimum of three suites (6 guests) in the group. All bookings in the group will receive the same amenity or amenities. Group bookings are also eligible for published savings programs and free or promotional air programs, if applicable to the voyage. The GAP program is not available for expedition cruises aboard the Prince Albert II.
