Heads up, health-conscious New Yorkers (or health-conscious people visiting New York): Miss Lily’s juice bar will open tomorrow, Saturday, January 14 courtesy of juice professional Melvin Major.
Eater.com reports that Major has made juices for Gwyneth Paltrow, Susan Sarandon and "many other celebrities." The site reports that Major will be making the same juices that earned him a cult following at Lifethyme Natural Market in the Village, but notes that the juices will have different names.
The juice bar will share space with Miss Lily’s Variety, Miss Lily’s Bake Shop and Melvin’s Juice Box on the corner of Houston at Sullivan, next door to Miss Lily’s restaurant. While there is no official menu yet, but gourmet fresh juices will probably be $9, patties $4, and a jerk chicken sandwich $9.
