Mercer Hotel Sevilla

Heading to Spain this fall? There’s a buzzworthy new crash pad called the Mercer Hotel Sevilla which will be opening in September. As reported by The New York Times, “From a Barcelona-based hotelier, Pedro Molina, the Mercer Hotel Sevilla is aiming to offer the most luxe accommodations in Seville, a city with a dearth of upscale hotels.” Housed in an early 19th century building at 26, Calle Castelar, the Mercer Hotel Sevilla is not far from main attractions like the Torre del Oro, the Cathedral, Real Alcazar, and the Bullring La Maestranza.

There are only 12 luxury guestrooms, elegantly decorated by Mercer's design team. Guests will enjoy breakfast in the courtyard, and evening craft cocktails in a dedicated bar, overseen by Diego Cabrera, the award-winning mixologist who founded Twist de Naranja. Perhaps the best part of all? The rooftop pool. After Barcelona and Sevilla, Mercer Hotels has further expansion plans in the works... Stay tuned!
