Luxury villa company BeautifulPlaces has recently named W. Scott Simmons as its new vice president of business development.
In his previous position, Simmons was the COO of Andrew Harper Travel, responsible for the company's day-to-day operations and expansion. Prior to that he worked on the executive management team at Abercrombie & Kent, helping to co-found A&K Hotels and Resorts.
In his new role, Simmons will work to help expand the company, and has already played a pivotal role in securing the Nantucket development to the company's portfolio.
