Garden of the Gods Resort and Club Unveils $40 Million Reno

Garden of the Gods Resort and Club has completed its property-wide renovation. The $40 million project included renewed rooms, refreshed dining experiences, expanded amenities and more.

The new design direction, conceptualized and executed by Johnson David Interiors and Marsh & Associates Inc., incorporates modern styling of natural materials to achieve an elegant take on the Colorado mountain casual esthetic throughout the accommodation offerings, as well as the arrival experience, restaurants and spa. Guests will be greeted by the new cobblestone drive, landscaping, a trickling water feature and a welcome drink.

Each of the lodge rooms and suites affords views of the Garden of the Gods and the Rocky Mountains, and includes new furnishings, bedding and décor. Additionally, the fireplaces in each room have been re-clad with a 3D textural limestone for a rustic chic vibe. The refreshed bathrooms are nearly double in size compared to previously and now include oversized showers, full-size soaking tubs and modern vanities for a spa-like atmosphere.

These enhancements continue in the main building of the property. Here, guests will be welcomed by a refreshed reception area, new furnishings in the members-only The Rocks Lounge and the revamped Grand View restaurant. The Grand View restaurant affords views of the Garden of the Gods rock formations, as well as new oak wood flooring, stone, leather and copper highlights, and chandeliers. One of the most exciting additions to the space is the onyx bar, imported from Turkey.

Other elements of the renovation include the addition of fire pits to the patio area of The Rocks Lounge, the addition of three new tennis courts, six pickleball courts, an updated reception area and salon at Strata, and more.

Good to know: Guests can book a stay at a reduced rate this summer. They can avail of 15 percent discount on their stay or extend their vacation plans and get a fourth night free.
