Jamaica's The Tryall Club Unveils Two New Renovated Villas

For those visiting Jamaica in the near future, we suggest checking out the newly renovated villas over at The Tryall Club, located right outside of Montego Bay. The luxury resort, which has been entertaining guests for nearly 60 years, recently unveiled the finished renovations of two of the resort’s 75 estate villas, including the 10-bedroom estate villa Create Abundance and the newly expanded five bedroom Sunset luxury villa.

The smaller of the two recently redone villas, Sunset, still welcomes guests to a luxury seaside accommodation, featuring five bedrooms, a private beach and views of Montego Bay and the Jamaican coastline. The thoroughly-remodeled, single-level villa now exhibits contemporary Caribbean architecture fused with a sophisticated beach house ambiance. Highlights of the renovation include a newly constructed ocean-facing, two-bedroom cottage that’s linked by a covered walkway to the main house; a new solar-heated, overflow swimming pool, complete with a lap lane, baha ledge and adjacent hot tub; outdoor showers in four of the five restored bathrooms; expanded living and dining rooms, complete with new interiors and a wet bar; and new cool-to-the-touch coral stone flooring throughout.

The villa sleeps 10 guests but can comfortably accommodate 12 people for indoor seating, and even more for a standing or cocktail event. It’s well-suited for families, friends and business travelers, especially the active types, as there’s a championship golf course and comprehensive water sport facilities all within walking distance.

Winter rates for Sunset start at $22,000 for one week, inclusive of tax.

If you really want to go large, Create Abundance occupies four hillside acres. The colonial style villa underwent renovations that re-imagined enhancements, including expanding doorways, putting down new parquet flooring, window realignments and refurbishments, and fresh, white washed interiors complete with locally-sourced furniture. Highlights of the new $2 million renovation include a new poolside bar, ideal for outdoor entertaining with plenty of umbrellas over an ocean view; a gym, complete with cardio and resistance training equipment; a new organic kitchen, with easy access to a hillside yam farm; a new butler’s pantry for the head of the villa’s six member staff, including a chef, housekeepers, laundress and gardeners; and new landscaping, completed by a steep terraced garden with flowering plants bordered by cut stone and a waterfall.

Set on an elevated plot featuring ocean views, Create Abundance is one of the largest of the 75 villas at The Tryall Club, comfortably sleeping 20 guests. The villa offers 20 person seating and can comfortably fit 50 people for a cocktail reception. Other amenities include large and airy rooms, an outdoor heated swimming pool, a children’s playground and a basketball court.

Winter 2017 rates for Create Abundance start at $41,670 for one week, including tax.
