The St. Regis Atlanta Gets Updated for 10th Anniversary

A property-wide refresh is underway at The St. Regis Atlanta, which should be completed by early 2019—just in time to celebrate its 10th anniversary.  The renewal, inspired by the hotel’s historic surroundings and refined to meet the needs of the modern traveler, includes an upgrade to the guestrooms; an expansion of the St. Regis Bar; an overhaul of the outdoor terrace at Atlas to provide guests with an all-season garden experience; and the introduction of a three-story meeting and event space, Maisonette. Additionally, The St. Regis Atlanta will add the services of Intelity, an iPad-based guest services platform.  

Accommodations

At the forefront of the enhancements is the addition of in-room iPads, which guests can use to control the lighting, air conditioning and drapes, and to manage service requests for housekeeping, transportation and concierge. Other tech updates include USB outlets throughout the rooms, 65-inch TVs, motion-sensing night lights and more.

The Empire Suite will have a built-in bar and buffet, comfortable lounge area with two sofas facing the fireplace, a 65-inch TV and motorized drapery. It will also have an in-suite media room with a wraparound sectional sofa, an 82-inch TV, surround sound and more. There is also a fitness room with TechnoGym equipment and office space.  

St. Regis Bar

Due to popular demand, the St. Regis Bar will be expanded in order to provide more guest seating. The St. Regis Atlanta will add an 85-inch TV, allowing for a more energetic environment; alter the color palette to combine the former Wine Room and existing bar space; and introduce seating configurations with sofas and. 

Atlas

Set to be completed in early 2019 in conjunction with Atlas’ four-year anniversary, the new 3,070-square-foot terrace will have 100 seats in the dining area, along with 24 dedicated bar seats. The new terrace will have a vaulted glass and steel roof, sliding glass windows that open onto One Buckhead Plaza, an illuminated tree sculpture the bar, and focal trees throughout the dining space.   

In addition to serving as an extension of the Tavern at Atlas, the terrace will also serve as a stand-alone bar and dining destination where guests can enjoy small plates, award-winning cuisine from the dining room, cocktails and live music. 

Maisonette

Supplementing the property’s existing meeting spaces, the property will introduce the three-story Maisonette. The Maisonette Gallery and the Maisonette Pavilion, both offering natural lighting, can cater to the needs of any meeting, corporate dinner, or social gathering.  The highlight of the new space is the Maisonette Chef’s Kitchen, a full-service, modern kitchen, providing the exclusive opportunity to host interactive, intimate culinary experiences.

The 26-floor St. Regis Atlanta has 151 guestrooms and suites, 53 residences, more than 24,000 square feet of meeting and event space, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a 40,000-square-foot Pool Piazza and Poolside Café & Bar, and a 7,800-square-foot Remède Spa. Located in the Buckhead community, The St. Regis Atlanta is situated within walking distance of Atlanta’s top shopping, restaurants, art galleries and landmark corporations.
