Broadway and bars? What's more New York than that? We hear that Andaz 5th Avenue is partnering with four Broadway shows this fall on a series of mixology classes to be held in the bar downstairs. If you haven't been to the bar downstairs, picture a chic lounge serving up cocktails, fine wines, beer and a menu of Latin-style dishes.
Led by mixologists Shane McGowan and Sean Diener, the monthly mixology classes will kick off September 27. Participants will learn the tricks and tips needed to mix two custom cocktails, designed for each class using inspiration fro the shows: Pippin, Cinderella, Motown and A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder. Those in attendance will enjoy bites from the bar to accompany their cocktails.
The Mixology Series will be priced at $90 per class.
