ULTRA Trendsetters to Enjoy Austin’s Innovation, Ingenuity and Music Scene

ULTRA Trendsetters, organized by Questex Travel Group, publishers of Luxury Travel Advisor and the thought leadership behind the ULTRA Summit, will take attendees on a jaunt to local Austin agency Departure Lounge during the upcoming event, which will be held September 17-19, 2017 at The Driskill in Austin, TX.  

Like its sister event, Trendsetters will focus on luxury travel, but will be geared towards the forward-thinking advisors and supplier brands who are changing the way we think about modern luxury.   

To convey the type of trendsetting marketing opportunities available for advisors, attendees will take a field trip to Departure Lounge, an Austin-based travel agency that also happens to be one of the best coffee shops and wine bars in Austin. Founded by Keith Waldon, a former marketing executive with Rosewood Hotels and Virtuoso, Departure Lounge was developed as a new way to visibly engage a community with the world of travel.

As part of the Ultra Trendsetters experience, attendees will also be treated to Austin’s famous live music scene complete with hip food truck dining when they visit local favorite Antone’s, an iconic blues club home to legends such as Ray Charles, James Brown, and B.B. King. 

ULTRA Trendsetters will be an intimate luxury travel event that includes one-to-one appointments between advisors and suppliers, engaging presentations and discussions, hip networking functions, and thought-provoking educational content.
