Sommelier’s Choice: Ideal for any whiskey enthusiast, this experience offers a personalized one-on-one tasting from a collection of rare and older malts with courses conducted by one of the experienced bar managers, who are more than happy to share stories about the strong history which each spirit has to offer.

In addition, aspiring whisky connoisseurs can become members of Bascule’s prestigious whisky club, where they can receive their own private whisky cabinets and invitations to exclusive events.

Also at Bascule Bar, guests can sample vintages from local Cape vineyards as well as a tapas-style menu. Cape Grace’s wine sommelier is on hand to guide guests through the task of ordering a large selection of Cape wines on offer.
