Capella Washington D.C., Georgetown has announced that it partnered with The Washington Ballet to bring guests a more intimate and exclusive experience through the 2013-2014 ballet season. Not only will guests have the opportunity to access premium seating, but they will also have an inside look into machinations of The Washington School of Ballet, including classes at various levels in their Move like a Dancer series. The hotel opened at the end of March.
Capella Washington D.C., Georgetown’s “VIP Holiday” package includes: four tickets to The Nutcracker, a backstage tour at The Warner Theater, and a rare adult/child walk-on role. Should guests prefer to appreciate the art rather than take part in it, Capella Washington D.C. can offer them the Dance Studio Insider, which features complimentary access to The Washington Ballet Open Rehearsal events, or a more personal experience during private weekday studio rehearsals.
Capella also offers entry to intimate engagements with Septime Webre, artistic director of The Washington Ballet. Guests of Capella can partake in Salon Evenings, moderated by Webre and hosted by the hotel. A more personal interaction with Webre is available through an Arts Coffee, where guests can enjoy a private coffee with the artistic director.
