Royal Livingstone Hotel by Anantara Unveils Adventure Package

Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara is inviting adventurers to soar above Victoria Falls in a microlight aircraft. The hotel’s “African Adventure Experience” offers guests the chance to enjoy views of the world’s largest waterfall from a private craft as they glide over the Zambezi River. Guests can also enjoy a breakfast, lunch or sunset safari cruise and rafting expedition.

Located on the banks of the Zambezi River, the Royal Livingstone Victoria Falls Zambia Hotel by Anantara is a short distance from the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Victoria Falls. Guests can enjoy an experience aboard a microlight aircraft, which is completely open to the elements and allows for aerial views of the “smoke that thunders." The pilot will chart a course over the bends of the Zambezi River, weaving between rainbows and pointing out wildlife along its banks before turning several circuits over the falls.

In addition to enjoying the Zambezi River from the sky, guests can also experience the rapids firsthand on a raft. Aptly named rapids, including “Stairway to Heaven,” “The Terminator” and “Oblivion” chart a challenging course as guests navigate their way through the vast gorges. Guests can also opt for a private river cruise with a chance to spot hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife in the surrounding nature reserves. After a day of exploration, a massage at Anantara Spa awaits, followed by a three-course dinner with wine pairing at the hotel’s signature restaurant, The Old Drift.

Tip: Those booking the “African Adventure” package directly with Anantara Hotels can enjoy exclusive offers, including the addition of a private barbecue dinner for stays of over three nights, and a private Monkey Tree dinner and luxury airport transfers for stays of over five nights (based on twin sharing, three-night minimum stay).
