All Nippon Airways is adding new travel classes and more in-flight services on flights to Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta. The Japanese airline wants to target flights with a high volume of business and international travelers. Here's what to expect next time you fly.
ANA will fly premium economy class seating for the first time in Asia. This premium seating will provide passengers with extra leg space (so go ahead stretch out), a seat with a leg rest, foot rests, a laptop charger, LCD monitor, USB port and a personal light. Those flying premium economy will also be able to enjoy sparkling wine and business class wine and dessert.
Beginning in March, business class passengers on ANA flights will be able to order a wider range of meals — like the simmered flounder in a soy-based sauce. There will also be a specialty menu created from “The Connoisseurs," in collaboration with a Michelin-starred chef, served a course at a time. Also in March, ANA will start flying first class on the Singapore route, providing passengers with the highest level of service and privacy. First class guests will be given cashmere blankets and will sit on seats that extend to the full-flat position.
ANA flies 72 international routes and 115 domestic routes.
