Aranwa Resort Offers Gala Party Package

Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, located in a restored 17th Century colonial hacienda on the banks of the Vilcanota River in Urubamba, has announced that it is offering what it called as a “magical combination of mystical ancient Inca culture, colonial grandeur, and modern design and comfort”.

The 115-room, 10-acre resort is offering a three-day/two-night package for a special New Year’s Eve celebration, including dinner with a glass of Champagne and a DJ dance party, complete with party hats and blowers, as well as a fireworks display. For accommodations, guests can choose between a Deluxe Room with a more modern aesthetic or a Colonial Room housed in the historic hacienda. Daily buffet breakfast is also included in the package.

Guests may also indulge at the resort’s Unno Spa, the largest in South America and a comprehensive health center. On offer are the spa’s signature Andean therapies that combine the ancestral knowledge of the Sacred Valley and use of essential oils from native plants. These include: the Andean mud wrap, symbolically joining the two elements of earth and water; salts Maras scrub, exfoliation using salt from the Sacred Valley’s Maras Salt Spring, originally unearthed by the pre-Inca Maras civilization; Misky exfoliation using yellow corn flour, aguaymanto (goose berry), honey and salt; and mystical stone bed wrap and massage, treatment using a natural stone bed heated with flaming aromatic oil.

The resort’s location provides easy access to Machu Picchu, Cusco, and other key sites in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The package is valid from December 28 to January 2, 2013.
