Boscolo Exedra Nice Joins Marriott's Autograph Collection

Boscola Exedra Nice

Marriott's Autograph Collection has added a new property in the French Riviera to its lineup: the Boscolo Exedra Nice.

The hotel, originally designed by architect Charles Dalmas, is situated on the Riviera and has been fully restored to the Belle Époque style enjoyed during its glory years in 1913.

The renovations were spearheaded by Maurizio Papiri, Massimo Iosa Ghini, Sergio Minorello and Simone Micheli. The lobby uses marble columns and hints of sweeping glass to echo early 20th century style. The theme throughout is neutral, with pastel hues in white and cream.

The 112 rooms include a Presidential Suite, an Executive Suite and a Boscolo Duplex Suite along with six Junior Suites looking out over the lively Boulevard Victor Hugo. All rooms have a combination of marble and pale parquet flooring, gilding details, furnishings draped in crisp white linens and fragrant fresh flowers. Some rooms have modular systems that allow the room space to increase their surface area.

La Pescheria is a restaurant in the hotel headed by Italian Chef Giuseppe Mandaradoni. The restaurant's signature is its "catch of the day" menu, as well as fresh local produce and independent cooking stations that allow international chefs to demonstrate their skills for the diners. Bar Genesi serves laid-back lunchtime fare on a terrazza tucked away in the foliage in front of the Boulevard.

The property also has a wellness space designed by Simone Micheli with a fitness room, a wet area with a sauna, a Turkish bath and Vichy showers and a steam room all set around an indoor swimming pool. At its centre, a feature tree sculpture delivers powerful waterjets from its branches, offering guests an in-pool massage experience.
