Broadway Week Offers 2-for-1 Tickets to Top Broadway Shows

Looking to cram more theater into your New York City vacation? (Who isn't?) Here's some good news: Broadway Week, the biannual (and misnamed) two-week celebration of all things Broadway sponsored by NYC & Company, is set to launch on September 1 with two-for-one tickets to some of the top shows on the Great White Way. 

Starting today, theatergoers can purchase tickets to 21 of New York City’s top Broadway shows for performances September 1–14. 

Shows participating in Broadway Week Fall 2014 include:

  *   Aladdin
  *   Cabaret
  *   Chicago
  *   Cinderella
  *   The Country House
  *   If/Then
  *   Jersey Boys
  *   Kinky Boots
  *   Les Misérables
  *   The Lion King
  *   Mamma Mia!
  *   Matilda the Musical
  *   Motown the Musical
  *   Once
  *   The Phantom of the Opera 
  *   Pippin
  *   Rock of Ages
  *   This Is Our Youth
  *   Wicked
  *   You Can't Take It With You

The details: A biannual promotion, Broadway Week was launched in January 2011 and takes place in winter and fall each year. More than 460,000 two-for-one theater tickets have been sold to date through the promotion. Broadway Week is produced by NYC & Company in partnership with The Broadway League, American Express, AARP, Amtrak, NBC 4 New York and Radio Disney.
