California Wine Festival Returns to Dana Point

wineHeaded to Orange County in April? The sixth annual California Wine Festival has found a new clifftop home overlooking Dana Point Harbor and Marina at Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point.

This year’s Wine Fest takes place April 17-18, and will showcase a variety of wineries from every wine region in California, plus regional microbreweries and restaurants from around Orange County.

“We’re getting a greater response in our sixth year,” said Executive Director Emily Kaufmann. “Many of the heavy hitters hang back to see what happens, and with the first few years selling-out, we’re having no trouble filling our festival with great winemakers and food purveyors.”

This year the Beachside Wine Festival has moved to Lantern Bay Park in Dana Point to accommodate more wineries and wine-lovers. The event will also have an expanded VIP Pavilion this year in partnership with the OC Golden Foodies. The VIP Pavilion will serve gourmet bites and reserve level wines, seating and shade. The events will benefit the Surfrider Foundation of South Orange County, an environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education.
