Rosewood Hotels Heads to Phnom Penh

Rosewood Phnom Penh

With a brand new hotel in London, and others in Beijing and the Bahamas to follow, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is quickly expanding its global portfolio. The latest news is that the ultra-luxe hotel brand will be managing a property in Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh starting in 2015. Rosewood Phnom Penh will be housed in the top 14 floors of a soaring skyscraper. (Vattanac Capital Tower One will be more than 600 feet high, which will also be occupied by "Cambodia's first luxury mall.") From this sky-high perch, guests will be privileged to impressive views over the city and the Mekong River.

What's in store? There will be three restaurants, meeting rooms, a fitness center, and a spa with five treatment rooms. We like the sound of the lobby lounge and sky bar “on a cantilevered terrace.” The official room count will be 148 rooms and suites. Rosewood will continue its expansion in Asia with launches in Chongqing, Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta, and Bali. For more information, visit www.rosewoodhotels.com/en/phnom-penh
