Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa, Miami Beach has announced the launch of five mini-packages said to be designed to put guests on a healthier path in as little as three days. The five packages tackle concerns ranging from bone health and weight loss to stress to detoxification.
Anchored in Canyon Ranch’s wellness principles, the mini-health packages can be added to any stay of two nights or longer. Many include consultations with nutrition counselors, physicians and exercise physiologists.
The “Mini Shed the Weight” was designed to demystify the process of losing weight, and it includes body composition, Metabolic Exercise Assessment (two sessions), 50-minute Fitness consultation, 50-minute nutrition consultation and 50-minute Integrative physician visit.
“Mini Detox” was designed to clear out the toxins and help restore vitality, with the package including a 50-minute integrative physician consultation, 50-minute nutrition consultation, two detoxifying drinks per day, 140-minute Ayurvedic herbal purification and a 50-minute detox wrap.
The “Mini Energizer Retreat” package includes 30-minute guided meditation session, 50-minute acupuncture or healing energy session, 50-minute nutrition consultation to create an energizing diet, and a 50-minute Abhyanga session.
“Mini Stress-Buster” combines massage, acupuncture and meditation. It includes a 50-minute acupuncture session, 50-minute healing energy to deepen that state of relaxation, 50-minute MINDLINK massage treatment, 50-minute one on one meditation, and a CD of selected meditations to use at home.
The “Mini Bone Health” package was designed for those concerned about their bone health but lacking direction on how to improve their strength. It includes a bone density scan, 50-minute exercise physiologist consultation, 50-minute nutrition consultation and 25-minute consultation with integrative physician.
Located on Collins Avenue, Canyon Ranch Hotel & Spa in Miami Beach is the nation’s first luxury boutique hotel dedicated to wellness. Situated on the six-acre site once occupied by Miami Beach’s historic Carillon Hotel, the restored beachfront property opened in November 2008, offering luxury hotel suites and condominium residences.
