New Beach Club Debuts in St. Barth's

Located in the heart of Saint-Jean Bay, Nao Beach, a new beach club in St. Barth's, has opened its doors to guests. The club was conceptualized and created by the Annie Famose and Blackcode groups, both of which already have a presence on the island with Kinugawa and La Petite Plage.

Nao Beach enjoys a prime spot on one of the largest beaches on the island; the décor is steeped in tropical and Mediterranean inspirations, with delicate hues of beige and terracotta. The contemporary furniture is tailor-made, and a production of French craftsmanship—both from the mainland and overseas territories. Use of sustainable materials, such as recycled fluted wood and furniture draped in artisanal palm leaf weaves, ensures that the project respects its environment.

The beach club draws from the traditions of Japanese gastronomy as well as from Mediterranean cuisine to offer a novel experience. The menu has been created by Chef Kawaï, executive chef of Blackcode Group, Nobu La, and Chef Alexandre Delage, who heads the Annie Famose Group culinary establishments. The menu focuses on local and responsibly sourced produce.

Nao Beach is just a few minutes from Gustavia. Late afternoons are ideal for socializing, set across from the sunsets of Saint-Jean Bay, to be enjoyed while sipping an Osaka Sour. Until sunset, the bar at the beach club serves modern and creative cocktails that blend Japanese flavors with Mediterranean influences, thus adding a twist to classic cocktails.
