Celebrate the Holiday Season at London's Claridge's, The Connaught, and The Berkeley

All three of Maybourne Hotel Group’s London hotels – Claridge’s, The Connaught, and The Berkeley – will be celebrating the holidays in their own, distinct fashion.

Claridge’s: For the seventh year running, Claridge’s Christmas tree will be designed by a loyal guest who happens to be the duo of Sir Jony Ive and Marc Newson, known for their work with Apple. The tree – and its distinctive design – will be unveiled Friday, November 18.

The Connaught: After London lights their Christmas tree on Mount Street (on Thursday, November 24), around the corner The Connaught will be offering an American-style Thanksgiving dinner at its brasserie-style restaurant, Espelette. The menu will include Rhug Estate turkey, pecan pie, pumpkin tart, and more. The hotel will also have its own Christmas Tree on Carlos Place.

The Berkeley: On their rooftop terrace-turned-cinema, The Berkeley will be playing Miracle on 34th Street for guests and locals alike: down feather blankets, mulled wine, and heat lamps provided by the hotel.

Rooms will be decorated with stockings (while suites will also receive a mini Christmas tree). Carolers will be caroling, and horse-drawn carriages will be at the ready for guests who wish to go outside.

At Claridge’s, there will be a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Children staying at The Connaught receive a personalized letter from Santa Clause as well as milk and cookies and carrots to leave out for Santa and his reindeer before bedtime. And families at The Berkeley can participate in Midnight Mass at St. Paul’s, the Victorian era church across the street.
