Master Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is hitting the high seas with Crystal Cruises' July 12 European cruise from Lisbon to London. The planned special dinners, sake tastings and celebrations will be part of Crystal's 25th Anniversary, and is hosted by Crystal's president and COO, Edie Rodriguez.
Throughout the 13-day voyage, Nobu - whose signature cuisine is featured in Crystal's Silk Road and The Sushi Bar - will be on hand for cooking demonstrations, book signings and Sake tastings.
Guests can sign up for two omakase dinners in Silk Road, with menus by Nobu featuring Connoisseur ingredients including toro tuna, paired with champagne and rare, specially crafted Hokustsu "Northern Snow" sake and Ongaku-shu Musical Sake. The $250 per person dinners also offer guests a complimentary cookbook and photo with Nobu. There will also be a $1,000-per-guest Ultimate Vintage Room dinner, with a specially designed menu complete with champagne and wine pairings for just 12 guests.
Until October 31, all-inclusive, value-priced “Book Now” fares for the “Epicurean Escapade” voyage start at $5,320/person. The Crystal Serenity itinerary departs Lisbon for London, calling in Porto/Leixoes, Portugal; St-Jean-de-Luz and Brest, with at least on overnight in Bordeaux/Bassens, St-Malo and Honfleur, France; and Guernsey/St. Peter Port, Channel Islands.
