2014 Cruising with Silversea

The 2014 cruise season is almost upon us. Can you believe it? We've got the skinny on Silversea's 2014 voyages right here.

In 2014, the luxury cruise line will have seven ships hitting more than 500 destinations on all seven continents. Here are some of the highlights:

The World Cruise will be a 113-day journey aboard Silver Whisper, which departs January 6 from Los Angeles. It will visit 54 destinations in a whopping 29 countries, and features 12 overnight stays. The Silver Whisper will call in Polynesia, Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga Island, Australia and New Zealand. From there it will sail to the island of Koror and head west for a month-long visit in Asia from Japan and China to Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore and India. We hear there will even be a three-day call in Myanmar. The World Cruise wraps in Barcelona.

Silversea also has a Grand Voyages collection, offering extended trips from 21 to 66 days. The Circle South America itinerary aboard Silver Spirit is a 66-day trip from Fort Lauderdale visiting 37 destination in South America and the Caribbean. Highlights include a crossing of the Panama Canal, cruising Chile's fjords, a stopover in Rio and overnight stays in St. Bart's, Buenos Aires, Ushuaia, Punta Arenas and Callao.
