Cunard Partners With Michelin-starred Chef Michel Roux

Cunard has announced an exclusive partnership with two Michelin-starred chef Michel Roux. The line has also revealed four additional dining experiences that will be available on its new ship Queen Anne.

Roux will be working alongside Cunard’s culinary development chefs to create a gala menu for the Queens Grill restaurant onboard Queen Anne, plus a new menu for the line’s fleet-wide pub, the Golden Lion. The new pub menu will launch in May 2024, before being rolled out to the existing fleet later that year.

Four additional dining experiences that will be available on Queen Anne include Aji Wa, Aranya, Sir Samuels and Tramonto. Three of these original venues aboard the ship will be alternative evening dining options, available as a supplement, complementing the inclusive fare options offered for lunch or dinner in Tramonto and the Golden Lion.

A new concept for Cunard, Aji Wa will feature Japanese cuisine influenced by the seasons of the year, featuring sushi and an à la carte menu for lunch and dinner, with an additional option to participate in a special omikase “chef’s choice” tasting menu in the evening. Elsewhere, Aranya takes guests on a journey through the flavors of India with menus curated by experts in their field; Sir Samuels will showcase British and Australian meat and seafood, complemented by wines; and Tramonto will offer a Mediterranean menu and an opportunity for guests to dine alfresco while watching sunsets.

Guests will also have exclusive use of dining appropriate to their stateroom type, from the two-tiered Britannia restaurant, to the Princess Grill and Queens Grill Restaurants.
