The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's Evrima Delayed Again

The debut of The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s inaugural vessel, Evrima, has once more been pushed back. Over the weekend, the company announced that it must reschedule its inaugural voyage due to ongoing global supply chain challenges and the unprecedented delay in receiving certain compulsory materials necessary for the final stage of finishing. Evrima will now set sail on October 15, 2022 from Barcelona, Spain.

Following up on a story from June, this marks the seventh time at least that The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has delayed its launch. At that time, the debut was pushed back til August 31. The new launch is just two weeks later. The ship, initially, was intended to set sail in late 2019 before a myriad of delays—from the COVID pandemic to supply chain issues—have forced the date back three years.

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection says it is personally reaching out to impacted guests and their travel advisors. Guests impacted by this schedule change may choose to reschedule their voyage to an available itinerary or be reimbursed by The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Guests and travel advisors can also contact The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection via the reservation lines below.
