With construction advancing as planned, Scenic has confirmed that its newest Discovery Yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, is scheduled to set sail in April 2023. Its inaugural voyage will be the “Incredible Iberian Discovery,” which sails for 11 days from Lisbon to Barcelona.
Scenic Eclipse will feature a 5,920-square-foot Senses Spa complete with dedicated male and female wellness areas appointed with saunas, steam room, temperature-controlled plunge pools, relaxation lounges and a manicure/pedicure studio. It also has an outdoor terrace and a yoga and Pilates studio.
Due to the success of the KLAFS Infrared chairs on Scenic Eclipse, designed to relieve back pain and encourage muscle relaxation, an expanded dedicated infrared “ocean view” lounge with color light therapy has also been introduced into the wellness area onboard Scenic Eclipse II.
On Deck 10, a new bar area with indoor and outdoor seating will be a highlight for guests to enjoy the views as they cruise through Antarctica, the Arctic, the Mediterranean or the Caribbean. A large, oval-shaped pool with relaxation space will also be a new feature.
The maiden voyage of Scenic Eclipse II is the 11-day “Incredible Iberian Discovery,” sailing from Lisbon to Barcelona and departing April 13, 2023. Other itineraries include the 15-day “Beyond the Antarctic Circle” voyage sailing roundtrip from Ushuaia; the 12-day “Exploring the High Arctic” itinerary departing August 2, 2023; the nine-day “Scottish Isles: Historic Trails & Wilderness” itinerary departing September 13, 2023; the nine-day “Caribbean Sunsets: Turks & Caicos Islands to Jamaica” itinerary, departing Nassau on October 23, 2023; the 11-day “Australia’s Top End: Cape York & Arnhem Land” voyage departing April 30, 2024; and the 13-day “Reefs & Volcanic Isles: Tahiti to Fiji” departing March 31, 2024.
With just 228 guests (200 in Polar regions), Scenic Eclipse Yachts offer all-inclusive voyages. Transfers, fine-dining experiences, premium beverages, gratuities and immersive excursions are all included in the price.
