Scenic Eclipse’s 2022-23 Worldwide Voyages Collection Unveiled

Scenic Group has announced the release of its new 2022-23 Scenic Eclipse Worldwide Discovery Voyages Collection. The program covers six continents, with Scenic Eclipse visiting 35 countries across 48 voyages.

Tip: Travelers can now plan and secure “Super Earlybird” savings of up to 20 percent on select Scenic Eclipse 2022-23 departures. A “Flexible Booking Policy” allows clients to defer their travel plans up to 60 days prior to departure and a complimentary “Deposit Protection Plan” has also been included. Scenic’s new “Platinum Protection Plan” (PPP) can be added and covers Scenic Eclipse clients if they are unable to travel due to health reasons, or their travel plans are impacted by COVID-19, up until 31 days prior to departure with a 100 percent refund (less airline cancellation fees and PPP cost).

Highlights of the new 2022-23 collection include:

  • Beyond the Antarctic Circle: Guests can delve even further into Antarctica with this new itinerary exploring frozen landscapes and unperturbed wildlife. Visiting just after the summer solstice, guests will enjoy plenty of daylight for discovery expeditions. The 16-day departs Buenos Aires on December 20, 2022.
  • Fire & Ocean: Russia’s Kamchatka & The Kurils: Venture along one of the world’s most active tectonic plate boundaries, known as “The Pacific Ring of Fire.” Home to at least 100 volcanoes, the Kuril Islands rise from the deep and have developed into a chain of dramatic landscapes, with fertile soil and stunning wildlife. Discover the history of the indigenous Ainu people, and learn the intricacies of the dispute between Russia and Japan over these remote islands. The 13-day voyages have departures June 9 and July 13, 2023.
  • Cross the Legendary Northeast Passage: Journey where very few have ventured before, as Scenic Eclipse navigates the remote regions of the Northeast Passage. Sailing from Nome, Alaska to Tromsø, Norway, journey through sea ice, glaciers and ancient ceremonial sites along mountain-lined landscapes and volcanic spires. Highlights include the rarely visited Novaya Zemlya, the third largest wilderness area in Europe, and the world’s northernmost archipelago, Franz Josef Land. The 26-day voyage departs August 6, 2023. 
  • Japan: A Journey Through Time: Explore glitzy cities and ancient cultures on Scenic Eclipse’s first-ever sailings to Japan. Head to the west coast and discover the country’s colorful past, traditions, cultures and scenery on a journey through regions. The 12-day truly sails from Otaru to Kobe (Osaka), including a visit to Aomori to witness one of the largest and best-preserved archaeological dig sites. Departure is June 21, 2023.
