Seabourn Cruises Offers Exclusive Denali Experience

Throughout the 2017 Alaska travel season, Seabourn is offering the Denali Experience, an optional Seabourn Journey available before or after all Seabourn Ultimate Alaska voyages on Seabourn Sojourn. The four-day Denali Experience is a fully escorted, custom adventure with luxury accommodations and culinary options. 

Highlights of the Denali Experience include: 

  • Travel from Seward along the Turnagain Arm waterway. Upon arrival in Anchorage, guests will board a sightseeing plane for an aerial tour of glaciers and the highest peaks of Denali National Park. Afterwards, guests will have dinner and an evening at the McKinley Chalet Resort. 
  • Take a guided tour of the Denali National Park and see Denali Mountain – the tallest peak in North America at a height of 20,310 feet.
  • Board a domed observation car for a railway ride from Denali National Park to Anchorage. Upon arrival, guests will enjoy a celebratory dinner at Crow’s Nest Restaurant offering 360-degree views of the Chugach Range. 

Seabourn will offer a series of 11-, 12-, and 14-day itineraries sailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Anchorage, Alaska aboard Seabourn Sojourn in Summer 2017. The season launches with the 11-day Ultimate Alaskan Sojourn on June 1, 2017 departing from Vancouver, B.C. 

The Seabourn Sojourn debuted in 2010 with room for 450 guests and 330 cruise members. The ship offers several on-board eateries, duty-free shops, and The Spa at Seabourn, the largest spa facility on any luxury cruise ship with six treatment rooms, a thermal area, dry float, a full-service salon, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, and a Thai massage area.
