Silversea Cruises opened pre-sale reservations for Silver Nova, the first vessel in its new Nova Class of ships. Available until January 6, 2022, the limited-time, advance reservations are exclusively for travel advisors and members of the line's Venetian Society, the ultra-luxury line's loyalty program.
Launching in summer 2023, Silver Nova will be the first low-emissions, ultra-luxury cruise ship with advanced hybrid technology featuring fuel cells. The ship's inaugural season of seven- to 23-day voyages will begin July 15, 2023. Silver Nova's 10-day maiden voyage from Southampton, U.K. to Lisbon, Portugal will include a port call at Saint Malo, France; three days in Bordeaux, France; and a port call in Bilbao, Spain.
During the ship's inaugural season, Silver Nova is scheduled to offer 21 Mediterranean journeys, a transoceanic crossing and a grand voyage to South America to kick off 2024. Overall, the ship will visit 100 destinations in 50 countries.
Innovative Design
Silver Nova is expected to reflect innovative asymmetrical design and will offer the largest offering of suite types in the line's history. Most notably, a collection of aft suites will offer 270-degree ocean and land views.
The ship will also offer Otium, the ultra-luxury line's wellness program introduced in 2021 on the new Silver Dawn, plus S.A.L.T. (Sea and Land Taste) culinary programming, which was first introduced this year on the new Silver Moon.
