U River Cruises has appointed Eddy Mestre to the newly created position director of national sales, effective immediately.

The cruise line launched “the first experience of its kind” in 2018, re-introduced The B ship into its fleet this year and will have three new itineraries for 2020.

Popular destinations like Vienna, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Salzburg and Bratislava highlight the offerings; sailings include overnight stays, complimentary happy hours each night and active excursions. Fourteen-night "Super Cruises" are also available, combining multiple itineraries, without repeating ports.

To keep up the brand’s growth, Mestre has been appointed as a dedicated sales resource. He will focus on bringing a refined focus and collaborative energy to the initiatives of the sales, reservations, marketing and operations departments.
