Stored in the yacht's retractable marina, guests can choose from water skis, a wakeboard, two types of ocean kayaks (tandem or solo), Skidoo jet skis, two 10-person zodiacs and fishing and snorkel equipment. There is also a contained in-ocean pool. For underwater exploration, the ship also has a C Explorer U Boat Submarine, which takes two guests on 30-minute expeditions for $599 per person. Additionally, a 12-passenger Wider 32-foot super yacht tender can take guests on additional excursions.
Crystal Esprit will also offer a number of Crystal Adventures onshore, ranging from zip lining in the Seychelles to culinary tours in Greece and a flight aboard a stunt plane in Croatia. Bicycles will also be available for independent exploration.
The new yacht is the first new ship from Crystal Cruises in 12 years, and is the first of several new experiences planned by the line over the next three years, including new ocean-going vessels, a new river cruise line and a new luxury air brand.
