Here's a name to remember for visitors to London: The Stafford London has appointed David Monson as Resident Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the hotel under General Manager Christine Hodder. Monson will manage the various operations departments, including Front of House and Food and Beverage.
David Monson was previously Director of Food and Beverage and Operations at the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire. Prior to this position, Monson worked for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts across the USA, Bahamas and the UK.
Other previous roles include positions at Claridge’s and The Savoy Hotel in London.
Formerly been a part of Kempinski Hotels, the Stafford joined Preferred Hotels & Resorts earlier this week and has formed sales affiliations for East and West coast of the US. On the East Coast, the hotel has partnered with Wegner Associates Inc., a New York-based hotel representation company. In the West Coast and Texas, the hotel is represented by JH Travel Marketing headed by Joanna Heathcote, who has been associated with The Stafford London since 1994.
