Al Faisaliah, A Rosewood Hotel Debuts New $50 Million Wing in Riyadh

Al Faisaliah, A Rosewood Hotel, is upping the luxury quotient in Riyadh. Long considered one of the best places to sleep in Saudi Arabia’s capital, the hotel has unveiled the results of a US $50 million expansion project: the new South Wing. Al-Faisaliah-South adds 106 deluxe rooms and suites, said to be the largest room size in the Kingdom. Channeling an “upscale residential” design aesthetic, the contemporary rooms have the most advanced communication and entertainment systems available on the market. Top digs: The Royal Penthouse, though the Oasis Suite comes in a close second, boasting its own private spa. All rooms at Al Faisaliah are serviced by a 24-hour butler, making this Rosewood property the only one in Riyadh to offer dedicated butler service to every room category.

Al Faisaliah is also heralded as a top dining destination. The Globe, encapsulated in a golden geodesic orb that tops Al Faisaliah Tower, offers staggering views over Riyadh. The three-storey restaurant also has glass elevators to enhance the panoramas. To complement The Globe restaurant, the hotel has opened La Cucina restaurant in the new wing, serving up authentic Italian cuisine. A ladies-only spa and wellness center will open in the new wing later this year.
