London’s RHS Chelsea Garden Show is just around the corner, and as the London Hotels Insight blog points out, the city’s hotels are rolling out the flower-strewn carpet with special packages galore. One of the coolest we’ve seen is the edible garden event at Belgraves, A Thompson Hotel. For five days (from May 21-May 25), the hotel is transforming its lovely terrace into an edible garden with a living wall of flowers you can eat.
Head mixologist Salvatore Maggio will lead an interactive cocktail session, and there will also be a daily “Food and Flower Pairing Tutorial.” Guests get to take home complimentary cocktail recipe cards and packets of edible flower seeds. Access to Belgraves Edible Garden is free but advance reservations are required.
The hotel is also launching a package called “Bed, Brunch, and Botany” which includes a gourmet brunch in bed for two, an Edible Flower Recipe Book to take home, automatic access to Belgraves’ Edible Garden and two complimentary cocktails. For more information, visit www.thompsonhotels.com.
