Boutique luxury is rising in Myanmar. We hear the newest boutique resort, Bagan Lodge, is slated for a soft debut on August 1.

The intimate property has 85 rooms and suites and sits along the Bagan Archaeological Zone. (Think 2,000 temples and ruins just east of the resort.)

Rooms range from 538 square feet to the expansive Queen Victoria Suite, which has 2,100 square feet of space. Inside guests will find four bedrooms, a living room and a private garden.
