Broadway Week Kicks Off in New York

Great news for theater fans in New York: NYC & Company, the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced that 2-for-1 Broadway Week tickets are on sale today for nearly 20 of New York City’s most popular Broadway shows from September 4 to 16.

Best of all, the program will offer an additional incentive this fall: a free dessert when a ticket stub from one of the participating shows is presented at a participating restaurant. More than 25 restaurants in the Theatre District will celebrate Broadway Week with the dessert deal, including B. Smith’s Restaurant, Ca Va Brasserie, FireBird Restaurant, The Russian Tea Room, Shun Lee West and Sky Room Times Square.

Participating shows include:

Bring It On: The Musical
Chaplin
Chicago
An Enemy of the People
Evita
The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess
Jersey Boys
The Lion King
Mamma Mia!
Mary Poppins
Newsies
