Buzz: The Regent Grand Hotel Bordeaux to Open Luxury Spa by Nuxe

Regent Grand Hotel Bordeaux, Spa by Nuxe

Ever since we first checked in to the gorgeous Regent Grand Hotel Bordeaux, we've been keeping our eye on its spa construction. The ultra-luxe hotel opened in 2008 on the Place de la Comédie across from the Grand Théâtre, the monumental Bordeaux landmark, and has been getting rave reviews for its plush interiors ever since. Interior design guru Jacques Garcia, known for his opulent and colorful style, created an over-the-top luxury experience that's unrivaled in Bordeaux wine country.

Now we've received word that the luxury spa, Les Bains de Léa, will open its doors on May 16 offering incredible views over the historic city center (a UNESCO World Heritage site) from its setting on the top floor of the hotel. Sprawling across 1,000 square meters, the spa by NUXE will feature 12 treatment rooms, a rooftop solarium, and an indoor pool. The spa menu includes enticing half- and full-day escapes for both menu and women featuring hydrotherapy baths, body scrubs, massages and facials. Fitness trainers are also available for physical evaluations followed by private coaching sessions.

Beautiful artistic renderings of the spa (shown here) can be found on the French website Be.
