Canyon Ranch to Open a Resort in Turkey in Summer 2016

Canyon Ranch resort opening in Turkey

Fans of Canyon Ranch will be thrilled to learn that there’s a destination spa resort in the works for Turkey. Currently, Canyon Ranch operates properties in Lenox, Massachusetts and Tucson, Arizona, with a SpaClub also located in Las Vegas. These immersions resorts focus on healing both the body and soul with fitness, nutrition, stress management and integrative wellness programs. Now the brand is going international with a wellness resort slated to open in summer 2016 in Kaplankaya, not far from the popular city of Bodrum on the Turkish Riviera.

The focal point of the 141-room resort will be the spacious spa (encompassing 107,500 square feet) with a whopping 40 treatment rooms. Other facilities include a hotel restaurant and a casual beach eatery serving up Mediterranean-style seafood complemented by locally sourced produce. As reported by The New York Times, “the Barcelona-based architectural firm OAB is behind the resort’s clean, contemporary aesthetic.”
