On the island of Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina, recently completed all seven of its Hillside Villas.
The private villa estates range from two to four bedrooms and span 3,000 to 6,000 square feet with views of the Caribbean Sea and the surrounding islands. Each Hillside Villa has large balconies and terraces as well as Subzero, Wolf and Viking appliances, enclosed rain showers, and infinity-edge or plunge pools.

Meanwhile, in Anguilla, Luxury Travel Advisor got the skinny on CuisinArt Golf Resort and Spa’s plans for construction of a separate boutique resort at CuisinArt’s newly acquired golf course.
Owner Leandro Rizzuto recently signed an agreement to build a separate 70-room resort near the newly acquired, Greg Norman-designed 18-hole golf course. Lyon said the project is still a “few years” away, and will include a small conference center and a wedding facility.

Opening date for the 26 overwater Kokomo Island suites at Sandals Grande St. Lucian resort is currently slated for February 2013.
Each St. Lucia overwater bungalow will have a private sitting room with doors that fold away. Nice Touch: Glass in the floors will allow guests to see fish swimming in the water below. In addition, the Sandals overwater suites will have outdoor Jacuzzis and showers, as well as hammocks above the Caribbean Sea.
